National Care Group is recruiting a Senior Support Worker in Gloucester to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health needs across residential, supported living and outreach settings. Our team delivers person-centred care to help people reach their goals.

The role involves assisting senior management to assess needs and to develop new ideas to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Support adults with learning disabilities.
• Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards.
• Able to motivate and manage a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Level 3 in health and social care, or willingness to undertake.
• Experience with electronic support plans/records (Nourish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist senior management to assess peoples support needs and develop new ideas to improve quality of service.
• Treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions; be kind, friendly and honest.
