Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate Senior Support Worker to assist seven men aged 60–76 with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will work across the home and community to promote safety, dignity and wellbeing, leading shifts and coordinating care in collaboration with the team.

Role involves supporting eating, personal care, medication and health record updates, with a focus on person-centred care and independence.

Formación

• Compassionate care experience preferred.
• Strong communication with colleagues, residents and families.
• Able to supervise and delegate tasks during shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals with eating and drinking.
• Support personal hygiene and daily living needs.
• Assist with mobility and use of equipment.
• Engage residents in activities and social events.
• Maintain dignity and respect at all times.
• Act as Shift Leader and delegate duties during handovers.
• Support people with their medication.
• Record health checks and care plans, using records or digital tools.
