Job summary

One Fylde is recruiting eight Senior Support Workers to lead and mentor teams in our houses, ensuring exceptional experiences for the people we support. You will step in for the Team Leader when needed and model our values, culture and behaviours in every shift.

Ideal candidates will have or be working toward NVQ/QCF Level 3, plus excellent leadership and communication skills and a passion for supporting others. This is a hands-on senior role with a focus on team development and service quality.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 desired or in progress.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and people skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in the absence of the Team Leader and deputise as needed.
• Mentor and support staff to deliver exceptional experiences for those supported.
• Ensure tasks are completed and problems are solved to keep the house running smoothly.

What is a Senior Support Worker?

A Senior Support Worker is responsible for the leadership of the team in the absence of the Team Leader.

You will be a strong role model for the values, culture and behaviour of One Fylde. This person is the next level of management within each service and routinely deputises for the Team Leader and ensures tasks are complete. You will make decisions independently and be able to solve problems to enable the smooth running of the house.

The Senior Support Worker role is for you if:
