Prosperity Care & Wellbeing is recruiting a Senior Support Worker (Male) in Gloucester to provide person-centred support to a male adult with mental health needs and a visual impairment. The role focuses on independence, routine, and emotional wellbeing, with day-to-day care in a calm, supportive environment.

You will lead on delivering high-quality support, document care plans, manage risk, administer medication safely, and collaborate with families and health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Lead by example, supporting and guiding colleagues while maintaining high standards of care.
• Complete accurate documentation and contribute to support planning; follow risk management procedures.
• Administer medication safely and adhere to safeguarding procedures and policies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with family, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
• Support the individual to access appointments, social activities, and community opportunities; travel may be required and a full UK driving licence is essential.
• Be patient, reliable, proactive, and committed to making a positive difference every day.
