Prosperity Care & Wellbeing Ltd in Gloucester is seeking a Senior Support Worker (Male) to provide person-centred care for a male client with mental health needs and visual impairment. You will promote independence, maintain routines, and ensure a safe, supportive environment tailored to his needs.

Salary: £13.80 per hour
Contract Type: 45 hours per week
Shift Patterns: 7:00am – 3:00pm, 3:00pm – 10:00pm, Sleep-ins may be required

You will be supporting a male in his early 30s who has mental health needs and a diagnosed visual impairment. He requires ongoing support to maintain his wellbeing, develop confidence, and live as independently as possible. He benefits from a consistent routine, positive relationships, and a calm, supportive approach that promotes his emotional and mental wellbeing.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will take a lead role in delivering person-centred support, ensuring his environment is safe, accessible, and tailored to his individual needs. You will provide practical and emotional support, encourage independence, and work closely with colleagues and professionals to ensure high standards of care are maintained. Building a trusting relationship and communicating clearly and sensitively will be key to helping him achieve positive outcomes and live a fulfilling life.
