Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our services across Rainham, Rochester and Kent. You will support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs, delivering person-centred outcomes daily.

With at least 12 months of experience and the right to work, you will bring enthusiasm, strong people skills and a proactive approach. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, plan meals and budgets, communicate effectively, and work as part of a supportive

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• 12 months Experience in Support Work.
• Health and Social Care level 2 (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to play active roles in their communities and promote independence.
• Supporting Activities of Daily Living including personal care, routines, meals and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using each person’s preferred method.
• Engaging people to enhance their quality of life.
• Specialising in positive behavioural support where needed.
• Recording accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Being a team player and using initiative.
