Job summary

S.N.G HEALTHCARE LIMITED in the New Forest area is seeking a Senior Residential Child Care Worker. The role involves leading a team and delivering direct 1:1 care to children in a residential setting, ensuring safety and positive outcomes.

Successful candidates will have at least 12 months’ experience with children/young people, a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent, and a full clean driving licence.

Senior Support Worker | Children's Residential

Location: Lymington, New Forest
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + £55 per sleep-in
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent – 40 hours + sleep ins
Shift Pattern: Long shifts, short shifts and sleep ins on rotation

Please note: You must have a minimum of 12 months' experience working with children and young people. We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Residential Child Care Worker to join a residential children's home situated in the New Forest, supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential.

This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Southampton, Totton, Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Lymington, New Milton, Ringwood, Christchurch, Bournemouth, Fordingbridge, Salisbury, Romsey, Hythe, Hythe and the Waterside, and surrounding areas.

You will work closely with the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager to maintain and develop high standards of care, promoting a nurturing, safe and aspirational environment for the children.

As a Senior Residential Child Care Worker, you will play an important role in leading and supporting the wider team, while also providing direct care and support to children on a 1:1 basis.

Requirements:
