Orbis Education & Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Cartref Mynydd in Swansea to support the Home Manager and lead the care team. You will create a warm, inclusive environment and help residents live fulfilling, independent lives within a holistic, person-centred approach.

The role requires QCF Level 3 (or working towards) and experience in managing challenging behaviour, with a DBS enhanced check and safeguarding awareness. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Salary: £14.20 per hour / £29,720.60 per annum + £1,500 annual allocation allowance

A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves:

• Leading the team whilst on shift.
• Assist in ensuring service scoring standards are maintained.
• Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
• Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in assessment, development and review of support and care plans.
• Promote and celebrate homes achievements.

To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you'll need:

• Experience in a positive support environment.
• QCF level 3 qualified, or working towards.
• Experience in managing challenging behaviour.
• Knowledge of statutory regulations.
• Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
• Upload company policies and standards.
• Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
• Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
