Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker for our Hindhead service. The role involves leading shifts, supervising staff, and helping residents with autism and complex needs live more independent lives. You'll manage rotas, inductions, and training, while supporting with budgeting and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Support Worker or Team Leader in health and social care.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism and behaviours of concern.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Genuine passion for helping people to achieve independence.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the wider team.
• Allocate rotas and shift responsibilities.
• Support inductions, supervision and training of colleagues.
• Medication administration and ordering.
• Support people with budgeting and managing finances.
• Promote independence, choice and community engagement.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
• Mentor and role-model for staff.
