Job summary

Voyage Care in Southampton is seeking a Senior Support Worker to help people gain greater independence and to assist the Service Manager with day-to-day supervision and service management.

You will lead shifts, coordinate training, induct new colleagues, supervise staff, order medication and support residents with daily living activities, including mealtimes, personal care and community access.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification is required.
• Experience as a Senior Support Worker is essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Allocate shifts and coordinate training for staff.
• Induct new colleagues and support staff supervisions.
• Order medication and ensure residents’ finances are managed.
• Provide one-to-one and group support with daily living activities.
