Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service in Bulkington. You will support people to gain independence, supervise day-to-day operations, and help allocate shifts while guiding a dynamic team to deliver person-centred care.

The role involves inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision, and ensuring people we support manage finances and medications with safeguarding at the core. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading care teams within a residential setting.
• Ability to supervise day-to-day operations and allocate shifts.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high-quality support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the senior team, support daily supervision and service management.

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Bulkington. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.
