Job summary

Voyage Care in Werrington Peterborough is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our supported living service. You will help residents gain independence, supervise staff, allocate shifts and support day-to-day operations in a welcoming, dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience working with LD and Autism is preferred.
• You will supervise, allocate shifts and support line management at the service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, book training and induct new colleagues.
• Support supervision processes and medication ordering to ensure residents’ needs are met.
• Ensure people we support manage their finances and are safe at all times.
• Provide day-to-day support to help residents gain more independence.
• Be a part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality care.

Pay Rate : 13.84ph

Typical Shifts are: Mon -Sun 8.00am-3.00pm and 3.00pm-10.00pm

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our supported living service in Werrington Peterborough. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day‑to‑day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working in LD and Autism.
