Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Halifax to lead our Saville Row supported living service. You will help people gain more independence, assist the Manager with daily supervision, and support a dynamic team dedicated to quality care.

The role requires prior Senior Support Worker experience and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, plus experience with individuals who have learning disabilities. We offer development and a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day supervision and management of the supported living service.
• Allocate shifts, book training and induct new colleagues.

Senior Support Worker- Halifax - £13.72 per hour

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday, 8:00am - 8:00pm & 8:00pm - 8:00am

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our supported living service, Saville Row in Halifax. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
