Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Cherrywood House in Weston-super-Mare. You will join a compassionate team delivering personalised care to adults on the autism spectrum or with a learning disability, helping them live more independently in a safe environment.

You will support care plan implementation, assist with daily activities, and contribute to residents' wellbeing. Leadership experience is preferred; Priory offers training and career development along with a contributory

Compensation: £14.25 / hour

Description

Cherrywood House is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team.

Cherrywood House is located in Weston-super-Mare, in North Somerset. Our home offers residential support to 11 adults who are on the autism spectrum or have a learning disability.

Set in its own grounds surrounded in woodland, the service is located in a quiet neighbourhood, within easy reach of the beach and local amenities.

Our team provide just enough support to enable people to live as independently as possible. We promote choice, focusing on the wishes and goals of each individual we support, within a happy, safe environment.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

What you'll bring to the role
