Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker at Brunswick House in the West Midlands. You will join a compassionate team delivering tailored care to five adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.

You will lead shifts, coordinate activities, and support residents to gain skills, while ensuring care plans and records meet regulatory standards. NVQ Level 3 preferred; Level 2 considered with progression steps; driving licence beneficial.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred.
• Applicants with a minimum NVQ Level 2 will be considered, with progression to Level 3.
• Driving licence beneficial but not mandatory.

Brunswick House £13.95 per hour Full Time

Brunswick House is located in the area of Wednesbury, in the West Midlands. Our home is located in a suburban area, off a main road. The service offers residential support for five adults, including those with a learning disability, people on the autism spectrum, and individuals with mental health needs.

We specialise in supporting individuals who may be stepping down from a hospital setting, have complex needs, or require behavioural support. Our aim is to support residents to gain the skills they need to live active and fulfilled lives in the community.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred. Applicants with a minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) will also be considered, provided they are willing to work towards and achieve the Level 3 qualification within an agreed timescale following commencement of the role.

Due to resident activities, a full UK Manual driving licence would be beneficial for the role.
