Job summary

TipTopJob in the Swaffham, Norfolk area is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for a brand new care home opening soon. You will join a leading health care provider in delivering high-quality residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care.

This permanent, full-time role is for 36 hours per week on day shifts. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care is required, with responsibilities including care planning, supervising staff, and administering medication.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care required.
• Experience in a care setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Genuine desire to care for others.

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
• Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers.
• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries.
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation.
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
• Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures.

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care

As The Senior Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents

Benefits

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP16.50 per hour and the annual salary is GBP30,888 per annum.
