Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Senior Support Worker for a brand new care home opening soon in the Norfolk area. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, day shifts, with a competitive hourly rate.

You'll work under a leading health care provider, delivering person-centred care, contributing to care planning, supervising staff, administering medication, and liaising with relatives to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Proven experience in a care setting is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Team player with a genuine desire to care for others.

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
• Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
• Be responsible for administrating medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures

An exciting new job opportunity is now available for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new care home opening soon based in the Swaffham, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This is a modern, purpose-built care home which provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care, offering a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of each resident

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care

As the Senior Support Worker your key duties include:

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.00 - £14.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
