We have a fantastic opportunity within The Richmond Fellowship Scotland for a Senior Support Worker to join our Stirling service.

Requirements

Applicants will need at least 2 years of previous experience supporting individuals within care and already have or be willing to work towards your SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care to be considered for the role.

Staff Management

Our Senior Support Workers are classed as Front Line Management staff, with duties including:

• Coaching and mentoring front line staff, providing support and supervision.
• Identifying training needs and ensuring training is provided.
• Producing staff rotas considering budget and coverage needs.
• Developing support plans with your team.
• Covering on-call shifts as needed.

Supported Individuals

• Planning and facilitating meetings to gather information for support plans.
• Matching supported individuals to staff based on goals and outcomes.

Organisational Responsibilities

• Liaising with external agencies such as families and Social Work Services.
• Ensuring compliance with SSSC, Care Inspectorate, and internal standards.
• Representing The Richmond Fellowship Scotland positively in external interactions.
