As a Senior Support Worker, you will join a dedicated, resilient, enthusiastic team providing support across two homes in Shrewsbury.
You will manage staff rotas and mentor, train, and coach your team. Working with the Manager, you will monitor and control expenditure to ensure there are robust budget controls in place. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and our own processes and procedures.

Rebekah, Amelia, and Jayde share a home. They are in their twenties and enjoy lots of fun activities. It's a busy household with varied daily activities, making each day unique.
A typical day might include supporting the girls to attend their riding session or accompanying them to the farm. They lead active lifestyles, with interests like cinema, swimming, dance classes, gym visits, bowling, and sports village outings.
Supporting them to maintain regular contact with their families is important. You will assist with household duties such as cleaning, shopping, and cooking, encouraging Rebekah, Jayde, and Amelia to participate, especially in activities like making pizzas with various toppings.

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
Flexibility is essential as you will work on a rota that includes weekends, Bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

Ideally, you have experience working with people who have a learning disability, possibly as a Support Worker or Care Assistant, and are looking to advance to a more senior role.
