Job summary

Cygnet Lodge Salford is seeking a confident Senior Support Worker to join our mental health care team. You will work a full-time contract (42 hours per week) with 12-hour shifts across days, nights and weekends, providing compassionate support to women in a high-support inpatient setting.

You will deliver personalised care, supervise and assist with welfare needs, and help maintain a safe, clean environment. DBS check is required, with opportunities for development and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker in mental health care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

We are looking for confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. Youll be working a full time contract (42 hours per week) with 12 hour shifts across both days, nights & Weekends at Cygnet Lodge Salford. Cygnet Lodge Salford is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for women. The service supports 24 individuals with a primary diagnosis of mental illness, but they may also have a complex secondary diagnosis, including a personality disorder.

Your Day-to-Day

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
