The Role :

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support, acting as a positive role model while overseeing daily operations and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Provide direct care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans.
  2. Promote the emotional, physical, and social development of children through structured routines and activities.
  3. Take the lead during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with the team.
  4. Support the management team in implementing care strategies, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices.
  5. Monitor and maintain accurate records and reports, including incident logs, keywork sessions, and daily progress.
  6. Guide, support, and mentor support workers and new staff, encouraging continuous professional development.
