Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Senior Support Worker for our Bearsted service near Maidstone, Kent. You will lead a team of Support Workers, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care and robust record‑keeping.

The role includes coordinating activities, appointments, and community engagement, with on‑call duties as needed. You will work rota‑based shifts, including on‑call periods, and support implementation of personalised support plans.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Confident in leading a team and delivering person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Senior On‑Call rota, responding to staff queries, incidents, and operational needs as required.

Bearsted, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

About the service - Church Lane

Church Lane Service in Bearsted, near Maidstone in Kent has a good public transport. Bearsted is a traditional English village featuring quaint cottages, several village pubs, restaurants and a large village green which plays host to a variety of different social and sporting events.

The Role

You will:
