CareTech is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our Bearsted service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role involves leading a team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support and coordinating activities within a rota-based schedule.

Based in Bearsted near Maidstone, the role offers a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of £14.03.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers, providing guidance and day‑to‑day direction.
• Deliver and oversee high‑quality, person‑centred support and ensure care plans are followed.
• Coordinate activities, appointments, and community engagement for the people we support.
• Maintain high standards of record-keeping, completing documentation and incident reports.
• Participate in the Senior On‑Call rota, responding to staff queries and operational needs.

Senior Support Worker

Location: Bearsted, Maidstone
Rate: £14.03 per hour
Permanent | Full-time | 35 hours per week (rota-based)

We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our service in Bearsted, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

About the service - Church Lane

Church Lane Service in Bearsted, near Maidstone in Kent has a good public transport. Bearsted is a traditional English village featuring quaint cottages, several village pubs, restaurants and a large village green which plays host to a variety of different social and sporting events.

The Role

You will:

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers, providing guidance, role‑modelling, and day‑to‑day direction.
• Deliver and oversee high‑quality, person‑centred support, ensuring support plans are followed, reviewed, and updated.
• Coordinate and participate in meaningful activities, appointments, and community engagement for the people we support.
• Maintain high standards of record‑keeping, completing documentation, incident reports, and reviews professionally.
• Participate in the Senior On‑Call rota, responding to staff queries, incidents, and operational needs as required.
