Job summary

National Care Group in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join Integra Ty Newydd, a six-bedroom home for women with enduring mental health needs. The role involves supporting adults, assessing needs, and developing care ideas to improve quality of service.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or be working towards it) and proven ability to motivate and manage a team. A commitment to respectful, compassionate care is essential.

The Senior Support Worker Role:

As a Senior Support Worker your role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions.
