Job summary

Caird Avenue is a brand new service on the Bournemouth/Hampshire border near New Milton, opening September 2026. We are recruiting for Support Workers to join our team and help people we support live as independently as possible within their community.

You will build relationships, plan daily activities (cooking, cleaning, errands) and assist with personal care and medication if needed. A caring, team-oriented approach is essential and you will have access to paid training and opportunities to

We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our team at Caird Avenue

Caird Avenueis a brand new service & is currently forecasted to open in September 2026. Situated on the Bournemouth/Hampshire border, in New Milton, the property is being refurbished to provide 2 ground floor bedrooms with an accessible wet room, 2 first floor bedrooms with ensuites, a shared communal kitchen, dining and lounge space. A separate staff office will also be established.

At Apple House, we encourage the people we support to take an active role in their lives by helping them carry out daily tasks. To develop confidence and promote social inclusion, we help everyone seek new activities and experiences both locally and in the wider community.

We offer a range of our own activities, including pet therapy, visiting owls and dogs, BBQs, picnics, and parties, and we also hold a variety of events. Everyone has a choice of where they would like to go and what they'd like to do, including on annual holidays and weekend breaks. A break away offers people supported the opportunity to interact with new friends in new surroundings and to help develop their social skills.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker

You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards.

• You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
• You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
• You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
