Jobsgopublic Limited is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Hertfordshire to lead shifts, support people with learning or physical disabilities, and help them achieve daily goals. You will work across several service sites, ensuring high quality care and adherence to care plans.

Starting Salary: £32,578 progressing to £35,570 per annum plus 6% MUSHA payment for weekend working.

Our supported living and short breaks services support adults with various disabilities. Some have learning or physical disabilities and need high levels of physical support, others can meet their own day to day needs but may have behaviours of concern, mental ill-health or just a need for support to get through their everyday lives.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead shifts – overseeing the team and dealing with day-to-day challenges, supervise others and take on an additional area of responsibility such as coordination of training or health and safety.
Our services need you to support people with personal care, in some this involves using moving and handling equipment and, in those services, you would need to be physically able to manage this type of work.
Our roles involve shift work on either days or nights, including weekends and bank holidays. Some roles require you to sleep in.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a step towards management with great support.
You need to have some experience as a Support Worker for this role and to hold an RQF Level 2 award or equivalent. If successful you must be willing to undertake an RQF level 3 award – we will support you with all the additional training you need.
Our services require supporting individuals with personal care including bathroom support, mobility aids, and dietary needs (training provided). This includes the use of moving and handling equipment, so it's important that you're physically capable of performing these tasks safely and effectively.
