Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Senior Support Officer - IT Service Desk in Atherstone for a temporary role. The position pays £19.47 per hour PAYE and involves hands-on hardware and software support across PCs, mobile devices and laptops.

The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day IT Service desk staff, ensure timely resolution of issues, manage Active Directory changes, and administer user accounts and permissions to maintain system integrity.

This is a temporary role and the rate is £19.47ph PAYE

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and support of the hardware (including PCs, mobile devices and laptops) and software support.

They will provide direction and day to day supervision of the IT Service desk staff ensuring that all scheduled work, problems and issues are resolved in an accurate and timely manner ensuring that the integrity of all systems is maintained and will carry out changes on Active Directory, administering user accounts and permissions, including adding, modifying and deleting users.
