Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker for our Wellington residential service. You will lead a dynamic team, supervise day-to-day operations and help residents gain independence while supporting the Manager with service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous Senior Support Worker experience and a passion for improving quality of life.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support, including distress behaviours, mental health conditions, autism and brain injury.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential service in Wellington and support day-to-day supervision of staff.
• Allocate shifts, supervise staff, and assist with training and induction of new colleagues.
• Assist with ordering medication and support people to manage finances.
• Support the Manager to ensure high quality care and service delivery.
