Job summary

Edwards Ltd., part of the Atlas Copco group, is seeking a senior leader to manage a robust procurement, planning and logistics strategy at the Eastbourne site. You will lead the supply chain teams, ensure alignment with the division's goals and drive continuous improvement across sourcing, material control and inbound/outbound logistics.

You will oversee S&OP governance, supplier development and lifecycle processes, while maintaining strong cost efficiency and environmental considerations.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement or Operations Management (e.g. CIPS, APICS/ASCM, MCIPS, CPIM, CSCP or equivalent).
• Experience within electronics, high-technology manufacturing, engineered products or complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating within a global matrix organisation.
• Knowledge of sustainability, responsible sourcing and environmental compliance requirements within supply chains.
• Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), product lifecycle management and engineering change processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a robust procurement, planning and logistics strategy for Eastbourne that builds resilience and agility in the supply chain.
• Lead and develop the supply chain function and its team members in line with targets and modern procurement methods.
• Maintain an ambitious supply chain strategy including sourcing, purchasing and material control with focus on cost and quality.
• Improve supplier quality, delivery and administrative processes through Continuous Improvement and supplier development.
• Own the site S&OP process, aligning demand, inventory strategy and supplier capability to drive service and cost performance.
• Develop planning strategies to support business growth, optimise inventory and minimise supply chain risk.
• Establish governance, metrics and reporting to provide visibility of risks and opportunities to site leadership.
