Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Eastbourne site seeks a Senior Supply Chain leader to manage procurement, planning and logistics strategy, building resilience and agility into the supply chain. Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement or Operations Management (e.g. CIPS, APICS/ASCM, MCIPS, CPIM, CSCP or equivalent).
• Experience in electronics, high-technology manufacturing or complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating within a global matrix organisation.
• Knowledge of sustainability, responsible sourcing and environmental compliance within supply chains.
• Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the supply chain function and team in line with targets and modern procurement methods.
• Maintain and update a supply chain strategy covering sourcing, purchasing and material control, focusing on cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Improve supplier quality, development and reliability to guarantee field products with low quality cost.
• Identify and qualify new vendors meeting technical, quality and supply requirements.
• Drive total product cost reduction and operational cost-effectiveness.
• Improve logistics and material movement cost and environmental impact.
• Lead planning and S&OP processes, ensuring alignment of demand, capacity and supplier capability.
• Develop planning governance, metrics and reporting for visibility of risks and performance.
