Job summary

Benjamin Edwards is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Planner to manage purchasing, stock control, production planning and overall supply chain operations at a site-based location near Skegness. The role focuses on ensuring materials are available at the right time and cost, while driving cost savings and process improvements.

Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will collaborate with suppliers, production teams and internal departments to optimise materials flow, inventory accuracy,

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain coordination, inventory management or production planning.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confident in negotiating costs with suppliers and resolving supply issues.
• Good understanding of stock control, forecasting and material requirements.
• Strong IT skills and experience with CRM or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & supplier management: Manage purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers and monitor performance.
• Stock & inventory control: Maintain optimum stock levels and accurate records while minimising shortages.
• Production planning: Coordinate material availability against production schedules and adapt plans as needed.
• Supply chain & logistics: Oversee movement of materials and goods with suppliers and logistics providers.
• Systems & data management: Maintain BOMs, product codes and inventory information.
