Senior Supply Chain Operations Executive

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Executive to oversee critical aspects of our supply chain, inventory management, and shipping operations. This role requires a strong understanding of forecasting models in Excel and/or supply chain management software, experience handling long lead times and complex supply chains, and a proactive approach to optimising stock levels to support ambitious sales targets.

Over the coming years, we have ambitious growth plans and we’re looking for an organised, determined, and focused individual to become an integral part of the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory & Stock Holding

  • Maintain accurate stock records in our ERP system (SAP Business One, likely to be migrated to a different platform in 2025), ensuring seamless inventory tracking.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance & to optimise stock allocation, supporting commercial objectives.
  • Analyse stock trends and forecasts to make data-driven decisions that balance availability with demand.

Stock Forecasting & Planning

  • Develop and refine forecasting models in Excel and/or supply chain software to predict stock requirements based on sales trends, current inventory, and lead times.
  • Place supplier orders strategically, ensuring timely replenishment while mitigating risks of overstocking or shortages.
  • Manage supply across multiple suppliers in different countries, each with varying lead times, ensuring continuity and efficiency in inventory flow.
  • Oversee all outbound shipping operations from our UK warehouse, ensuring efficient logistics and timely deliveries to customers worldwide (B2B and D2C).
  • Collaborate with external shipping partners to streamline processes and resolve shipping challenges.
  • Manage inbound shipments, booking supplier deliveries and tracking progress to minimise delays and maintain supply chain fluidity.
  • Maintain close relationships with suppliers across multiple international locations to monitor production schedules, priority shipments, and order modifications.
  • Coordinate pricing updates, new SKU creation, and cost adjustments within SAP Business One.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to implement new projects, ensuring supply chain alignment with business goals.

US Shipments & Strategic Planning

  • Analyse and determine optimal stock allocations for the US market, including product assortment decisions (e.g., bone china split between UK and US).
  • Evaluate cost sheets, factoring in price fluctuations for packaging.

UK Warehouse Oversight

  • Conduct quarterly visits to the UK warehouse, identifying operational challenges and ensuring best practices in stock storage and management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • +3 Years Supply Chain Operations experience
  • Strong experience in forecasting and Excel modelling, with proven ability to analyse complex data sets and drive accurate stock planning.
  • Experience managing long lead times and varied supply chain timelines while maintaining efficiency and cost control.
  • Proficiency in SAP Business One or similar systems for inventory and procurement management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working across finance, operations, suppliers, and logistics teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong eye for detail and process optimisation.
  • An agile and growth oriented mindset, willing to adapt and deploy new solutions and systems to serve a growing business' needs.
