Job summary

Caterpillar Peterlee is recruiting a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead all supply chain activities at the Peterlee site, guiding strategic and operational efforts across sourcing, planning, and logistics.

You will manage approximately 250 staff, drive improvements in efficiency, resilience and customer outcomes, and work within a global organisation advancing automation, digital technologies and modern manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Significant experience in a complex manufacturing, operations or supply chain environment.
• Ability to lead strategic initiatives and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the facility’s supply chain strategy as a member of the Business Unit Leadership Team.
• Lead strategic sourcing, category management and S&OP activities to drive performance.
• Deliver supply chain objectives and key metrics through continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure continuity and delivery to demand.
• Develop supplier resilience and performance through partnerships and continuous improvement.
