Job summary

Caterpillar Marine Power UK Ltd in Wimborne seeks a Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations to lead daily plant operations, drive safety, quality and efficiency across production, maintenance and engineering support.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape manufacturing strategy, develop teams, manage performance and partner with cross-functional groups to deliver cost-effective, high-quality outcomes in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience required or desired.
Experience in manufacturing operations and leadership.
Ability to develop and train personnel and manage performance.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance and engineering support.
Lead hiring, performance management and staff development for operating functions.
Direct development and continual improvement of operating methods and infrastructure to meet goals.
Develop production work schedules to meet internal and customer goals and monitor performance.
