Job summary

Glen Callum Associates Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain & Demand Planning Specialist to lead transformation across the planning function in Central UK (Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire / Northamptonshire). The role focuses on ownership, autonomy and driving improvements in forecasting, inventory and planning processes.

You will work across multiple functions, define new planning practices and help implement advanced planning technology to build a more efficient and responsive operation for the future.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning.
• Experience in manufacturing, sub-assembly, distribution, wholesale or retail environments.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, inventory and supply-chain processes.
• Experience using supply-chain planning tools and technologies.
• Experience of process improvement, systems implementation or supply-chain transformation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Supply Chain and Demand Planning processes and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, planning, inventory and supply-chain efficiency.
• Help define and implement new processes, systems and ways of working.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of new planning technology.
• Work collaboratively across multiple functions and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Challenge existing approaches and introduce practical, sustainable improvements.
• Contribute to the development of the company's wider Supply Chain and Demand Planning strategy.
• Use data, systems and insight to improve planning accuracy, availability and inventory performance.
