Senior/Supervising Social Worker - Fostering

Position Details:

• Type: Permanent, Part Time - 21 Hours Per Week
• Salary: £31,201 to £37,131 per annum, dependent on experience, rising to £41,948 with length of service (Pro Rata)
• Benefits: £1,000 Car Allowance, 30 days Annual Leave (rising to 35 days), Bank Holidays, Company Pension, Life Assurance x2, Employee Discount Scheme, Medical Cash Plan. All benefits are Pro Rata.

Location: Home Based - East Midlands/Eastern, covering Northamptonshire & Leicestershire

Role Overview

We are seeking a Part Time Senior/Supervising Social Worker to work with foster carers in our East Midlands or Eastern area, responsible for recruitment, training, assessment, support, and supervision of foster carers.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
• Experience in fostering and services for children
• Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
• Knowledge of legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures
• Innovative mindset, whether new or experienced in fostering
