Job summary

DCS Recruitment in Hampshire, UK, is seeking a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join a highly technical team developing innovative electronic hardware and embedded systems for advanced subsea applications.

This hands-on role covers analogue and digital design, FPGA/MPU technologies, embedded C/C++, low‑power electronics and EMC testing. You’ll lead reviews, mentor colleagues and provide technical direction across engineering and production.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop analogue and digital electronic hardware.
• Develop and support embedded firmware.
• Lead hardware and electronics design reviews.
• Provide technical authority on electronics design for new products.
• Design for EMC and support testing and standards compliance.
• Produce engineering and design documentation.
• Mentor and guide engineering teammates.
• Support Production with technical direction.
