Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Hampshire for the development and testing of bespoke subsea systems. You will work alongside project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure assemblies are integrated, tested and validated before customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or similar.
• Experience supporting engineering or product development projects.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other laboratory equipment.
• Understanding of electronics and/or embedded systems.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate electro-mechanical and electronic systems.
• Carry out bench, environmental and in-water testing.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Produce test reports, technical documentation and procedures.
• Support customer demonstrations, factory acceptance tests and training.
• Assist with system verification and project delivery.
