Job summary

BMT Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Complex Systems Engineer (Grade 4) to deliver engineering support for submarine combat and underwater complex systems. You will work in a specialist Mission and Complex Systems team, collaborating with Project Managers across full customer delivery lifecycles.

You will contribute to defining delivery approaches, planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication, ensuring in-service capabilities and exploring new defence-related domains.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation and support of complex submarine / underwater systems.
• Knowledge of MOD CADMID lifecycle artefacts and processes.
• IEng accreditation or working toward with 18-month target.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering support across submarine combat systems and related complex underwater systems.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to shape delivery approaches and mitigate risks.
• Develop robust project plans and monitor progress against schedules.
• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout delivery.
• Support sustaining in-service capabilities and expansion into non-defence domains.
