Venture Engineering Ltd in the UK is seeking a Senior Sub-Assembly Technician to lead build, service and inspection of precision motorsport components including gearboxes and driveline assemblies. You will work from technical drawings, control quality, and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Travel to events and client sites may be required; the role demands independent working, strong fault-finding, and a commitment to high workmanship standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience assembling and servicing gearboxes, driveline s and complex mechanical assemblies.
• Strong motorsport or prototype engineering background.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical specifications.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex build, service and inspection activities to ensure assemblies meet quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians.
• Maintain build records, service histories and traceability.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve alignment and fitment issues.
