Job summary

Venture Engineering Ltd is seeking a Senior Sub-Assembly Technician to build, service and inspect precision motorsport components, including gearboxes, driveline and suspension assemblies. The role involves travelling to events and supporting race operations, with factory work as required.

You will follow strict build processes, read engineering drawings, and maintain detailed service histories to ensure high standards of quality and performance on our WEC program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience assembling and servicing engines, gearboxes, drivelines and suspension components.
• Experience in motorsport, race team or precision engineering environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles and motorsport component function.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly diagrams.
• Skilled with torque tools, precision measurement equipment, and assembly/alignment jigs.
• Competent with build paperwork, quality control processes and inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build, inspect, and service motorsport components including gearboxes, differentials, suspensions and driveline assemblies.
• Assemble and test ancillary systems such as cooling, lubrication and fuel assemblies.
• Follow precise build processes; use torque tools and jigs for accuracy.
• Perform routine servicing, strip, inspection, cleaning and re-assembly to motorsport standards.
• Record build documentation and quality records; elevate deviations to the lead.
