Venture Engineering Ltd, based in the UK, is seeking an experienced Engine Builder to join its high-performance workshop. You will build, inspect, and develop engines for premier automotive and motorsport applications, ensuring reliability and optimal performance across projects.

You will work with engineers and technicians on full builds, perform detailed inspections, document processes, and mentor junior staff while upholding strict quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building engines in high-performance or competition environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerancing documents.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and dyno processes.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild high-performance engines to tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineers on full engine builds and major overhauls.
• Conduct strip-down inspections and prepare components for machining or replacement.
• Prepare engines for dyno testing with correct configurations.
• Maintain build documentation, logs and torque/clearance records.
• Mentor junior technicians and uphold quality standards.
