Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Sub Agent to join a major highways scheme in Exeter. The role involves supporting the Site Agent, coordinating site activities and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered on time, safely and to the required quality.

You will draw on a strong highways/civil engineering background, lead site teams, monitor productivity and maintain robust site records. This is a long-term, on-site position with a comprehensive delivery focus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Sub Agent or Senior Site Manager.
• Strong highways and civil engineering background.
• Experience on major highways or infrastructure schemes.
• Good understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and programme delivery.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• CSCS / SMSTS or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Agent with day-to-day delivery of highways works.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors and labour.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Monitor progress, productivity and quality across works.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers and project team.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and delivery of construction activities.
• Ensure works comply with project specs, drawings and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates.
• Support overall management and delivery of the package.
