Ringway Jacobs is seeking an experienced Structures Engineer to lead the design and delivery of highway structure replacement, refurbishment and improvement projects across Essex. You will apply Eurocodes and DMRB standards to produce high-quality solutions for complex schemes, coordinating with the Team Leader and mentoring junior engineers.
The role requires technical leadership, strong collaborative skills with internal and external stakeholders, and adherence to CDM and Health & Safety
Qualifications
- Proven design experience using Eurocodes and DMRB.
- Working knowledge of contract specifications and the MCHW.
- Strong understanding of highway legislation, structures design standards and best practice.
- Experience in budgetary governance and cost control.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations.
Responsabilités
- Prepare designs, plans and programmes for highway structure works and services
- Lead and oversee projects to ensure successful delivery
- Support the management and monitoring of works programmes
- Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with CDM and Health & Safety policy
- Mentor junior staff and undertake technical checking of their work
