Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with recognised professional status.
• Significant consultancy experience in structural design.
• Strong technical ability and deep understanding of structural behaviour.
• Experience solving complex, non‑standard problems.
• Ability to guide engineers while maintaining project team ownership.
• Excellent communication and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of complex structural projects.
• Develop efficient, buildable structural solutions.
• Perform advanced analysis across steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Review high‑risk or complex designs and provide specialist guidance.
• Support project teams with alternative approaches and engineering judgement.
• Drive design excellence, digital innovation and sustainability.
• Capture lessons learned and improve technical processes.
