Job summary

This established and expanding engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the growth of its Structural Engineering division.

You'll take ownership of business development across the Structural Engineering business, identifying new opportunities and creating sustainable growth across markets, while leading a team of 3 sales executives and developing relationships with developers, architects and project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales and business development within structural engineering consultancy.
• Experience building relationships with senior decision makers across the construction sector.
• Strong networking, presentation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own business development across the Structural Engineering division and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead tender submissions, commercial negotiations and secure appointments on high-value projects.
• Manage and develop a team of 3 sales executives; mentor and grow the business.
• Develop relationships with developers, architects, project managers and contractors.
