Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline required.
- Chartered status with IStructE or ICE, or progress toward chartership.
- Strong UK consultancy experience in building structures.
- Good knowledge of Eurocodes and UK design standards.
- Experience delivering projects from concept to construction.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural engineering projects through all design stages.
- Produce and review calculations, specifications, reports and drawings.
- Design in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
- Attend client and design-team meetings.
- Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Assist with fee proposals, project resourcing and client relationships.
- Maintain high technical and quality standards.
