Job summary

RSK LDE (Land and Development Engineering) in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to independently manage projects and deliver high-quality structural designs. You will maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while ensuring design quality and regulatory compliance.

In this role you will lead project delivery, carry out site inspections, develop budgets and fee proposals up to £75,000, and mentor junior engineers within a collaborative, hybrid-friendly

Qualifications

• MEng/MSc/BEng/BSc Hons in Civil or Civil/Structural Eng.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IStructE or ICE membership.
• Experience with design tools: TEDDS, S-Frame, Tekla, REVIT, Robot.
• Strong PM skills with track record of delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead as project contact; manage client, design team and site interactions.
• Carry out site inspections and surveys to support design development and QA.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with regulatory and commercial objectives.
• Budget and prepare fee proposals and bids up to £75,000.
• Produce and review design using structural software packages.
• Prepare reports and calculation packages for key project stages and submissions.
