Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a senior structural engineer to lead and mentor a small engineering team within a growing practice. You will contribute to end-to-end design and delivery, engage with clients at advisory and conceptual stages, and help prepare fee proposals.

The role involves collaboration with architects and developers, and occasional site visits. You should have six years or more of design consultancy experience, a 2:1 civil/structural degree, and be chartered or near-chartered with

Qualifications

• Six or more years design consultancy experience
• 2:1 degree or above in civil/structural engineering
• Chartered or Incorporated status (or near) with IStructE or ICE
• Knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete design
• Good communicator and collaborative team player

Responsibilities

• Support a structural associate in managing a small team of engineers and technicians
• Engage in end-to-end design and delivery processes
• Input at client advisory and conceptual stages, assist with fee proposals
• Support development of the structures division
• Interact with architects, developers and design-build contractors; occasional client and site visits
