You’ll manage projects from concept to detailed design, mentor colleagues, and ensure QA and safety compliance across highways, rail, aviation and maritime schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Chartered status or working toward Chartership (IStructE or ICE preferred).
• Minimum 6 years’ industry experience in design consultancy with multi-sector leadership.
• Strong knowledge of UK design standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, Robot, Revit.
• Experience with CDM 2015 and client bid/proposals is a plus.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage project finances; confident leadership.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural engineering projects from concept to detailed design and on-site supervision.
• Ensure technical compliance and maintain design reviews and checks.
• Support project delivery including client briefs, scope, cost planning and deliverables.
• Implement QA systems and safety procedures in line with regulations.
• Monitor progress, variations and budgets; coordinate with design teams.
• Develop business opportunities and bids with existing and new clients.
